GPI Networking Breakfasts
Since spring of 2005, GPI has been hosting inspirational and informative speakers for its networking breakfasts. We've welcomed motivational speakers, sector experts, public servants, Ministers, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs and innovators; these are the movers and shakers, the new thinkers, the change-makers.
They come to share their experience in networking, in getting funding, on building innovation economies, how they got goats to create spider silk, or how they want to create a cell phone that can test your DNA, or on the basics of getting a products to market. They have also tried to answer simple questions, such as how Canadians view commerce, how to do research, commercialization and development in a highly regulated market, how Guelph can accerlerate technology based business, how to attract investment capital and how to cultivate good relationships between researchers and entrepreneurs.
Our most popular networking event, regularly attracting over 125 members of Guelph and region industry, service provider, academia and government members.
